You’ll be Greeted Like a Long Lost Friend
Just to confuse you, this resort is also known as Almeritha, however whichever way you say it, it still spells holidays that have rest and relaxation written all over them. There are no noisy bars and clubs to wake you from your slumber on the beach, just the lapping of the waves and the sails of passing boats flapping in the warm breeze.
That’s not to say there’s nothing to do here though, there’s a handful of bars and tavernas to keep you fed and watered on your holidays to Almyrida, plus a smattering of shops for those all important presents and souvenirs.
Water sports are available during the busier summer months, or why not hire a bike and explore the beautiful Greek countryside. Crumbling villages hide round every corner and the locals are always warm and welcoming. Visit picturesque Plaka and typically Greek Kokkino Chorio where you’ll be greeted like you’re a long lost friend.
There are a couple of all inclusive hotels here, however guest houses and self catering apartments give you the excuse to try the wonderful Greek cuisisne and explore Almyrida and the surrounding area to the fullest.
