Alikanas is on the Greek Island of Zante (also known as Zakynthos). Alikanas is near to the neighbouring resort of Alykes and with less than 1 km between the two popular resorts. It is a pleasant and easy flat walk from one resort to the other (taking about 15 minutes).

Alikanas and Alykes share a fabulous long beach of pale sand in the northeast corner of the island overlooking Kefalonia. Alykes has a village centre, with several tavernas, supermarkets and bars, where the road from the beach joins the main coastal road.

Alikanas is spread across the fertile coastal plain, with tavernas and shops dotted here and there, and a charming tiny harbour for fishing boats.

Alikanas is a quiet resort, with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere that becomes livelier in the peak season. Alikanas has a fantastic range of watersports to keep visitors occupied, such as pedaloes, bingos, paragliding, banana boat and much more.

On the outskirts of Alikanas, is the original village of Alikanas predictably now called old Alikanas.
