The resort of Verbier is located in the canton of Valais in the Four Valleys region of the Swiss Alps. The resort forms much of the western section of the Four Valleys Ski area. Thanks to its sophisticated, cosmopolitan atmosphere and superb off-piste skiing, Verbier attracts the attention of top skiers, some of whom have even chosen to settle in the resort. Off-piste skiing in Verbier is thought to be the best of its kind in the world.
