Holidayhypermarket.co.uk is a trading name of First Choice Retail Limited registered office is at First Choice House, London Road, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 9GX and registered number 1456086. We are members of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA No. J8086) and as such fully bonded. We act as Agents for ATOL protected Tour Operators. ATOL protection is provided by the Civil Aviation Authority, and applies primarily to customers who book and pay for Package Holidays in the UK. Click here for ATOL Information.

Please Note: If you have booked your holiday in person at any First Choice Holiday Hypermarket or First Choice Travel Shop, please refer to the terms and conditions given to you at the time of booking. Alternatively, please call on the telephone number detailed on your booking summary.

IMPORTANT

Because we only act as agents for the Tour Operators, Airlines or hotel companies that we sell, we will not be held responsible for providing your holiday, which is the responsibility of the tour operator, airline, hotel or other principal which provides the holiday. For this reason all bookings you make will be subject to terms and conditions of the tour operators, airlines, hotel companies and other principals providing your holiday arrangements, and these must be agreed to before a booking can be made.

Amendments and Cancellations will be subject to a charge depending on the holiday supplier.

Pricing

Whilst we endeavor at all times to keep our pricing as accurate as possible, and while all our prices are updated regularly, usually on an intra-day basis, and displayed in good faith, prices displayed by our holiday locator search engine should still be seen as guide prices only. All holiday and flight details are subject to availability and price variation. A final costing will be given when you call us, and prior to your holiday being confirmed.

Transfers

Some Tour Operators include the cost of the transfer from the arrival Airport to the resort accommodation in the holiday price. Others do not, but consider the transfer an option which can be pre-booked for an.

Allocated on Arrival

This is where the tour operator chooses your resort and accommodation upon arrival at the destination Airport.  This may include accommodation that has not previously appeared in a brochure.

Accommodation Ratings

These will usually be the ratings given as a guide to properties by the tour operator using their own criteria. They may not conform with national rating standards, either UK-based, or local to the destination.

24 hour clock

All times shown are based on the 24 hour clock and are local. Times from 00:01 to 12:00 are AM (morning). Times between 12:01 and 24:00 are PM (evening).

Ages

The age of children relates to the whole of the period when they are away including the day of return. If a child's birthday takes place while the child is away on holiday, including the return day, then the new age must be stated. Travel may be refused if the date of birth according to the child's passport differs from the age on the tickets.

Tickets

Tickets are normally sent to the customer by post, 14 days before the date of departure. If you have not received your tickets 7 days prior to the date of departure please contact our Customer Services department on 0844 800 3199*. For TOD's (tickets on departure) see below.

TOD - Tickets on Departure

If you have booked within 21 days of the departure date then tickets cannot be sent out to you by post. Instead they are collectable from the appropriate ticket desk at the Airport. For this you will need the tour operator's booking reference as stated on the receipt or given to you at the time you book. A fee of up to £17 per passenger may be charged for this service by the tour operator, and is payable at the time of booking. Car Hire You will need to produce the driving license of all drivers when you collect your car. Various countries and car rental companies have different policies with regard to age and driving records. All convictions for driving offences must be declared. Additional insurance cover superior to the legal minimum is recommended when renting cars, especially in the USA. The Contract As mentioned above (Terms and Conditions) in the case of package holidays, the contract exists between yourselves and the tour operator, or in the case of flight only, or accommodation only bookings, with the principal.(i.e. the supplier). For this reason you will be bound by the booking conditions of the tour operator or principal with whom you are traveling. These are available on-line (on the tour operator's/supplier's website), or in printed form in the tour operator's brochure, and will be sent to you either on request prior to a booking being confirmed, or along with your confirmation. By confirming the holiday or other product you are accepting these conditions.

Insurance

Holiday Hypermarket will only provide travel and holiday arrangements if: Every member of the party is covered by an insurance policy purchased through First Choice Holidays PLC (and underwritten by Europe assistance. OR Every member of the party is covered by another policy which provides the same or superior levels of cover to that provided by the First Choice Holidays PLC policy, and Holiday Hypermarket is in written receipt of the policy details by fax or letter within 48 hours of booking. Receipt of the details of an alternative policy and/or the charging of an insurance administration fee does not constitute an acceptance, endorsement or qualification by Holiday Hypermarket or First Choice Holidays PLC that the alternative policy p
