Selva lies in the heart of the dramatic Dolomites, and grants access to much of the Dolomites’ Super Ski area, as well as the Sella Ronda - a 26km circular tour with some of the best groomed pistes and modern, efficient lift systems in Italy. Selva is very well located in Selva Val Gardena (a region also known as the South Tyrol) and is famous for its world cup ski, which makes Selva skiing ideal for all types of skiers, thanks to its access to so many runs and piste. Selva Ski weekends have become increasingly popular in this traditional Italian mountain village, which has remained relatively unspoilt.

The village is enchanting with traditional Austrian style architecture and Italian charm and enthusiasm which makes skiing in Selva perfect for families and couples. Beginners – With excellent nursery slopes available, Selva is definitely a good place for beginners to gain confidence and improve their skiing ability.

Intermediates – With access to Val Gardena, intermediates have an enormous range of piste to choose from whilst skiing in Selva. The range of skiing available is perfect to help improve technique before tackling the more challenging areas.

Advanced – Experienced skiers will find that Selva can offer an excellent variety due to the access to Val Gardena and the super Ski area; they will discover fantastic off-piste routes as well as some World Cup courses to test their skills on.

Snowboarding – Selva caters for all standards, with excellent parks to try out tricks and practice manoeuvres. Runs are ideal for beginners to gain confidence and master the basics.

Après Ski – With access to Val Gardena you certainly won’t be disappointed with the entertainment that Selva can offer, as the atmosphere is always lively and informal. The local bars and pubs offer a warm welcome and often play live music. Selva also offers a great choice of restaurants serving tradition Italian cuisine. The daily activities available include ice-skating, cross-country skiing, helisking, ice hockey and excursions to Cortina for skiing and shopping.
