Sauze d’Oulx is one of the larger resorts of the Milky Way Ski region, perched on a plateau above the town of Oulx. Particularly popular with the British skier, Sauze d’Oulx offers a superb range of skiing. The original village Sauze d’Oulx retains its warm charm while the new town provides a livelier fun filled holiday. There is no transport in the village, luggage is transported to hotels, and guests can walk through the village to accommodations. The old village is a mixture of medieval and modern, explore the narrow streets home to plenty of boutiques, bars and restaurants. Beginners - Great conditions for the beginner with a wide open plateau. There are also nursery slopes at the foot of the Clotes chairlift.

Intermediates – There is a vast choice of red runs that link the Monte Triplex area with Rocce Nerre. This provides the intermediate skier with some challenging runs.

Advanced – The Genevris offers some challenging off piste runs for the advanced skier, or for the more daring try out the World Championship Kandaher run.

Snowboarding – Freeriders have some fantastic runs that weave between the trees, plus there is a new snowboard park in nearby Sestriere.

Apres – Ski – Lively non-stop nightlife, with an abundance of bars, nightclubs, restaurants and pizzerias. Other activities include a Games Hall, Skidoo rides or an excursion to a Juventus or Milan football match!

Transfers – From Turin approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

Beginners – Several wide, gentle blue runs make Pila ideal for beginners to learn and improve their skiing skills, helping them to move onto the longer runs.

Intermediates – Pila is an excellent resort for intermediates to practice their techniques on, with four different routes to choose from on picturesque runs down tree-lined pistes. Pila is a great place to test your nerve before moving onto the more challenging runs available.

Advanced –Experienced skiers will find that Pila gives them the opportunity to try the long testing Resselin run or bash the bumps on the demanding Tsa Creuisa.

Snowboarding – Snowboarders will find that Pila caters for all with a snowboarding park to practice and improve skills and tricks. Freestylers will be happy with a half pipe to hide in, snow jumps and a rail jump.

Après Ski – The atmosphere here is very Italian, relaxed and informal. Pila can be fairly quiet during the week with the entertainment centred on the hotels, but the town really does come to life on a weekend in lively bars and restaurants serving traditional Italian specialities. You will also find that Pila offers other activities such as shopping, ice skating and snowshoeing, along with trips to the nearby Aosta where you can discover a taste of local history and culture and browse the markets.

Transfers – Pila is situated 2hrs 30ninutes from Turin Airport and approximately 2hrs from Milan airport.
