The Saas Fee Ski resort is based at the foot of the Dom, and although not as internationally renowned as the Matterhorn, it is in fact Switzerland’s highest mountain. Saas Fee has some of the world’s best skiing for all abilities spread over three areas, totalling around 100km of piste. The Saas Fee resort has retained a traditional Swiss chalet-style appearance. The resort is also completely car-free and is surrounded by impressive mountains that create a refreshing air of authenticity in Saas Fee. Beginners – The large nursery areas in Saas Fee are available at the edge of the village and the excellent Ski school offers good tuition and encouragement for beginners learning how to ski.

Intermediates – Saas Fee offers lots of wide, open well-groomed piste, ideal for intermediates to practice their skills. There are also some steeper, more challenging runs in Saas Fee that will give intermediate skiers a great test.

Advanced –More experienced skiers will find that Saas Fee offers some excellent powder skiing and steep, heavily mogulled runs offering some great challenges.

snowboarding – Saas Fee is regularly featured in international snowboarding magazines and has hosted the Vans Triple Crown event. The top professional snowboarding teams train year round on the excellent glacier. Boarders of all abilities will find the board park has great facilities including a half-pipe, fun-park and boarder cross, ideal for practicing skills and testing out tricks.

Après Ski – Saas Fee has a lively nightlife considering it is a fairly quiet resort. You can find anything from cosy bars and restaurants to lively nightclubs, there is certainly something for everyone’s tastes. There is a good selection of activities to do in Saas Fee, such as ice-skating, sledging, tobogganing and husky dog sledding, as well as sporting activities including tennis and badminton.

Transfers – Saas Fee is situated approximately 1hr from Sion and 3hrs from Geneva.
