Beginners – With the superb reputation of its Ski schools Niederau, is certainly ideal for beginners to learn and gain confidence on the slopes. The gentle nursery slopes are situated right in the centre of the resort, although there is the option to for the more confident beginner to test out their abilities on the gentle blue runs of the 1500m high Markbachjoch Mountain.

Intermediate – Niederau can offer long, tree-lined runs for intermediates to pit themselves against. The excellent Ski schools in the resort can also help intermediates to learn new techniques that may help them challenge the more testing black runs.

Advanced – Although Niederau can feel a bit limited for an experienced skier there is the option to purchase a lift pass that will grant access to 3 other resorts in the valley, offering challenging black runs, vertical drops and plenty of great off piste.

Snowboarders – Niederau is limited for the advanced snowboarder, although it is an excellent resort to learn. The resorts neighbouring Niederau have a half-pipe and snowboard park for the more experienced freestyle boarders.

Après Ski Niederau offers a relaxed, traditional après ski, featuring lively music and entertainment. The resort also has traditional Tyrolean evenings that are often held throughout the village. There are a variety of restaurants that offer local dishes and Italian cuisine. Niederau also provides a selection of other activities for those looking for time away from the slopes. You can try ice-skating, tobogganing, sleigh rides or cross-country skiing, and there are day excursions to the beautiful city of Salzburg.
