Hopfgarten Ski Holidays Resort Guide
Hopfgarten - Baroque Churches And Tyrolean Tradition
Hopfgarten Austria is a quiet, traditional Austrian village with a friendly, low-key friendly atmosphere. Hopfgarten has a delightful cobblestone square, narrow lanes and an attractive baroque church like a picture postcard scene. It is famous as much for the music concerts, cultural events and traditional festivals that are staged throughout the year as it is for its winter sports. Hopfgarten,s hotels and accommodations have a typical Tyrolean feel and are great value for money. The resort now has its gondola up and running, so access to the mountain is very straightforward.
The picturesque idyll of Hopfgarten lies at the foot of the majestic ‘Hohe Salve’ mountain, which rises to a peak of 1629m. Hopfgarten’s ski slopes are part of the Ski Welt; Austria’s largest lift linked Ski area with more than 250km of runs. The town is about an hour’s drive from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck and is easily accessible by bus, car or train. Thanks to its central location Hopfgarten makes an ideal base for touring the region. Hopfgarten flights are available from most UK Airports all bookable online at Holiday Hypermarket!
